So even if you didn't watch the VMA's last night I think its safe to say that the internet has blown up enough that everyone and their dog knows about what went down. I have a tumblr, so needless to say I got a play by play of the events pretty much instantaneously.
Now I'm not going to say I'm surprised by the....well let's say "performances" showcased at the VMAs. MTV has always been the type of company to be uncensored. But a lot of people are in a negative uproar about last night and I can't say I blame them and I agree with why they would be a little upset.
First off there's Kellin Quinn's strong worded tweet. (Sleeping With Sirens)
Then Nick Cannon (Husband to R&B/pop singer Mariah Carey)
Alli Trippy (Wife of We The Kings bassist, Charles Trippy)
and Max Danziger (Set It Off)
I think my most favorite reaction towards the VMAs was the picture of Will Smith and his family during the Lady Gaga performance, I mean Jaden's face says it all.
And what about Miss Swift and her acceptance speech? *cough cough* Harry Styles *cough*
Anyways, whether you liked it or not it really has ruffled the feathers of many.
Did anyone else catch the MTV VMAs last night? What did you think about it all? Did they push the envelope? or was it just another typical VMA?
